JBS USA is seeking a Sanitation Superintendent to oversee sanitation teams, ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance within designated areas. The role emphasizes supervising hourly labor, providing direction to supervisors, and maintaining adherence to company policies and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or its Equivalent.
• General working knowledge of computers/technology (Excel and Word).
• Ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations.

• Strong desire to work in a challenging hands-on environment.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in sanitation or processing industry.

Responsibilities

• Directs supervisors with respect to sanitation standards, quality, cost and meeting production goals with on time delivery of the floors.
• Ensures supervisors are completing pre-operational paperwork, including all daily paperwork required for safety, payroll, and food safety compliance.
• Actively participates in group meetings, line meetings, and supervisory meetings.
• Ensures the department works safely, efficiently, and in compliance with governmental, customer, and company policies and procedures.
• Trains and develops supervisors to provide management depth and develop teamwork to attain department objectives.
• Performs performance evaluations for supervisory roles in sanitation.
• Works alongside management on implementation and adhering to company policies related to a clean work environment.
• Understand and adhere to all union regulations in regards to hourly employees.
• Physical demands of this position may include a great deal of walking and stair climbing.
• Position available in Fab and kill.
