Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Casa Grande, Arizona, is hiring an entry-level Production Cleaning Specialist to support daily sanitation across our Nutrition manufacturing facility. This role focuses on creating a spotless, safe environment and ensuring food safety by cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment and areas.

You will use floor scrubbers and other cleaning tools, follow FDA/OSHA policies, maintain logs, and rotate 12-hour day shifts (6:00 am–6:00 pm) with every other weekend off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with cleaning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a spotless, safe environment by cleaning assigned areas using approved sanitation methods.
• Play a key role in food safety by cleaning and sanitizing processing and production equipment.
• Support world-class production by ensuring equipment and areas are fully sanitized and ready for operation.
• Use floor scrubbers and other cleaning tools to complete sanitation tasks efficiently.
• Prevent cross-contamination and maintain compliance with sanitation SOPs.
• Keep the facility organized by completing sanitation logs and work order documentation.
• Maintain sanitation equipment and assist other departments as needed.
