Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking an experienced sanitation leader for our North America Ice Cream manufacturing facility. You will drive the cleaning and sanitation program, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and corporate standards while reducing microbiological risk.

You will supervise sanitation personnel and coordinate with QFS, maintenance, and operations to deliver safe, high-quality products. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience driving a robust and sustainable sanitation program in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience preferred in CPG environments.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, OSHA) and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates sanitation procedures and SSOPs to reflect best practices and proper chemical management.
• Verifies SSOP compliance through inspections, documentation, and data analysis; may require weekend or night shifts.
• Leads cleaning validation and environmental monitoring program improvements; coordinates third-party sanitation partners.
