Job summary

Florida Crystals in South Bay, Florida seeks a Master Sanitation Supervisor to develop and lead the sanitation program ensuring compliance with FDA and SQF standards. You will manage inspections, create work orders for sanitation tasks, and maintain audit-ready records across the distribution center.

The role requires prior experience with facility-wide master sanitation, supervisory responsibilities, and knowledge of SQF/HACCP; SAP and UKG-Kronos familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or a high school diploma with 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Preferred SQF, HACCP, and PCQI certification.
• Experience in sanitation programs and regulatory audits in food manufacturing.

OVERVIEW

This positionis responsible fordeveloping,managingand leading the Sanitation program tomaintainoverall cleanliness of theDistribution Centerand compliance with FDA and SQF regulations.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop,manageand lead the Master Sanitation (MS) program to ensure compliance with customer expectations, SQF requirements, and government regulations


• Conduct inspections and provide regular reports on MS program effectiveness and completion rates


• Implement procedures and forms to support food quality and food safety.


• Develop and implement work orders for all requiredsanitationand dust control tasks.


• Ensure records aremaintainedand audit ready


• Provide analysis of program data to evaluate andoptimizeresource allocation


• Communicate with customers and government inspectors and take the lead during audits and inspections of the sanitation areas and programs


• Coordinate activities for corrective action on all inspections and audits; follow-up to ensure completion


• Maintain the sanitation chemical control program including SDS documentation. Evaluate and selectappropriate chemicals. Read chemical labels,instructionsor Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to develop training materials and provide instruction on proper handling, mixing,applicationand storage


• Evaluate and selectappropriate equipmentand supplies andmanage thirdparty outside cleaning contracts as needed


• Determinethelong rangeneeds of thedepartmentdevelopplans and implement solutions.


• Provide training and orientation to all sanitation employees on safety, foodsafetyand regulatory requirements.


• Manage the sanitation budget withappropriate laborand resource allocation; manage supply inventory and costs


• Ensure employees are wearing the proper PPE and following all safety and quality guidelines and requirements


• Additionalassignments and participation on committeesand inteams as needed.


• Other duties andprojects asassigned

WORK EXPERIENCES

At least 3 years of applicable professional experience working with facility-wide master sanitation systems

Prefer at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role in a manufacturing environment

Preferred SQF, HACCP, and PCQI certification

Experience with SQF and GFSI and regulatory audits and inspections

Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning practices and procedures

Preferred knowledge of SAP, work order creation

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college/university isrequiredOR a High School Diploma (or GED) and 4 years of equivalent work experience; an advanced degree in a related field of discipline from an accredited college university is preferred.

• Leads agroupof hourly/ unionsanitation workers.

• Coordinates workflow and procedures to maximize service


• Administers all policies and procedures set forth by FCC
