Sanitation Operator

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable Sanitation Operator for a company based in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will perform the cleaning and sanitization of all liquid, topical product manufacturing, transfer, delivery system components and filing equipment.

Schedule and Hours

Day shift

Sanitation Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Compliance with all cGMP, safety and SOP’s
• Take all precautions when working with cleaning and sanitizing agents as recommended by material safety data sheets and other company safety requirements suck as PPE.
• Maintains products transfer pumps in proper operating conditions, both mechanically and compliance with sanitary cleaning procedures.
• Communicate with management and supervisors as to the status of any equipment state of readiness.
• Maintain accurate sanitations records.
• Report inventory & equipment problems to the department manager.
• Clean working area and equipment after usage.
• Follow appropriate sanitary procedures while handling inventory.
• Dismantle, clean, sanitize and reassemble production equipment including fillers pumps and mixers.
• Follow sanitation procedures precisely, without exception.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
• Strong interaction with sanitation manager, production manager and supervisors.

Sanitation Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: 2 years
• Must conform to all quality standards of the company
• Must observe the company core values.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Ability for up to 7 hours.
• Work frequently in a wet/humid & slippery environment.
• Able & willing to work overtime
• Ability to take initiative and work without close supervision.
• Motivated, self-starter takes initiative and is self-directed.
• Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic: team player.
• Detail oriented, mechanically inclined and organized person.
• Must speak fluent English. Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.
• Knowledge in the use of cleaning supplies & chemicals and capable of comprehending additional training in sanitation & safety
• Help train new employees in all areas of sanitation department.
