Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Sanitation Superintendent to lead the sanitation team in a plant environment. You will supervise supervisors, hourly workers, and lead persons to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across sanitation functions.

You will direct efforts to meet production goals, complete mandatory paperwork, and participate in meetings. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a focus on a clean, compliant facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in sanitation or processing
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficient in Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Directs sanitation supervisors to meet safety, quality, cost, and production goals
• Ensures pre-operational paperwork and daily safety/food safety compliance
• Participates in group, line, and supervisory meetings
• Ensures department safety and compliance with policies and regulations
• Trains and develops supervisors to build leadership depth
• Performs performance evaluations for sanitation supervisors
• Collaborates with management to maintain a clean work environment
• Adheres to union regulations regarding hourly employees
• Navigates physical demands including walking and stairs
