Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or commensurate experience required.
• 4+ years of sanitation experience or more.
• In‑depth understanding of manufacturing sanitation processes.
• Ability to lead, guide and direct line personnel.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead and supervise sanitation employees; solve problems before they develop.
• Observe/evaluate processes and make independent decisions on sanitation improvements.
• Provide guidance to sanitation staff to accomplish daily tasks and goals.
• Communicate effectively and make sound decisions.
• Evaluate employee performance and administer discipline when needed.
• Assist with hiring, advancement, transfer and termination decisions for the department.
• Delegate responsibilities and schedule vacations.
