Job summary

JBS USA in Council Bluffs, IA, seeks a Sanitation Worker on the 3rd Shift to maintain clean and safe production areas. You will follow GMP and safety requirements, and participate in mandatory training.

Wages start at $20.60 per hour with a $1.00 shift premium; benefits begin after 60 days, including 10 days vacation and options for medical and 401(k). Community college tuition is provided for employees and dependents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Able to work in refrigerated environment (10°F to 40°F).

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Work in a fast paced environment, with repetitive motion work
• Ability to work overtime as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Experience / Work History

• Prefer previous manufacturing experience
