Job summary

GoMacro is seeking a Safety-minded Sanitation Associate to maintain a clean, compliant production area at our Wisconsin facility. This role supports GMP-driven cleaning, swabbing, and chemical testing to ensure safe, high-quality MacroBars.

You will work with a collaborative team and report to the Sanitation Supervisor. Responsibilities include following sanitation schedules, operating cleaning equipment, and performing daily validations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMPs and SSOPs is required.
• Ability to perform basic math is required.
• Good communication and capability to work in a team setting are essential.
• Aptitude to follow written and verbal instruction is expected.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule and initial tasks when completed.
• Maintain the production line cleaning system and operate the dishwasher and handwashing stations.
• Clean and sanitize breakrooms, warehouse, and offices.
• Perform daily chemical titrations and document results.
• Report abnormalities to the Sanitation Supervisor.
• Use PPE appropriately to ensure a safe work environment.
• Complete daily ATP and Allergiene swabs and rewash if out of spec.
• Assist senior staff with other sanitation duties as needed.

Position Description:

Clean and sanitize the entire production facility in accordance with GoMacro’s GMPs to assure safe, high-quality products.

Primary Responsibilities:

Production/Non-Production:

• Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule checklist, initialing tasks as they are sufficiently completed
• Maintain the production line cleaning system (belt washer), operating the mechanical dishwasher, and handwashing equipment
• General cleaning and sanitizing of the breakroom, warehouse, and offices

Chemical Concentrations:

• Perform daily chemical titrations to determine adherence to set specifications
• Document results and report any abnormalities to the Sanitation Supervisor

Safety:

• Appropriately use personal protective equipment while completing the Master Sanitation Schedule to enable a safe work environment

Swabbing:

• Complete daily ATP and Allergiene swabs to verify effectiveness of cleaning.
• Rewash and retest whenever results are out of specifications.

Other Responsibilities:

• Other duties as warranted by senior management

No travel will be required with this position.
