Job summary

Nissin Foods USA in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a dedicated Janitor to keep all common areas clean and maintained to meet our food safety and quality standards. You will work in a manufacturing environment with diverse temperatures and equipment, supporting safe, efficient production.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED or 3–9 months of related experience, basic manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read routine reports and basic English.

  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and OSHA standards (preferred).

Overview

The Janitor will ensure all common areas throughout the facility are clean and maintained to meet the company’s food safety and quality standards

Responsibilities
  • Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to 9 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Basic understanding and terminology of a manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to read routine reports and correspondence and comprehend basic English.
    • Ability to interact with all levels of management and apply practical sense to understanding and execution of detailed written and/or oral instructions.
    • Ability to resolve and deal with simple to complex problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations within the production processing operation.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with handling of cleaning chemicals and OSHA standards

  • In confined spaces of 18” openings.
Pay Range

USD $18.50 - USD $22.42 /Hr.
