Job summary

Envision Cold is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the warehouse, ensuring a safe and productive environment. You will identify sanitation issues and address them promptly to uphold health standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, disposing of waste, and following OSHA/FDA guidelines. The role requires standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs while adhering to PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in cold/freezing temperatures while wearing PPE.
• Strong attendance record and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize areas of the warehouse including storage areas, aisles, break rooms, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and restroom fixtures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
• Remove debris and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE when handling cleaning chemicals or operating cleaning equipment.
• Adhere to sanitation regulations and guidelines set forth by OSHA and FDA.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned/needed.

Job Summary:

As a Sanitation Associate with Envision Cold, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, contributing to a productive and safe working environment. Your primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the warehouse facility. Attention to detail is essential in identifying and addressing sanitation issues promptly to uphold health and safety standards.

What you’ll do (including, but not limited to):

• Clean and sanitize various areas of the warehouse including storage areas, aisles, break rooms, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and restroom fixtures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
• Remove debris and dispose of any trash and recyclable materials appropriately.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals or operating cleaning equipment.
• Adhere to sanitation regulations and guidelines set forth by regulatory agencies, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned/needed.

• Regularly required to stand, sit, reach, bend, twist, kneel and use hands to handle various products.
• Occasionally lift, move, push, pull and carry upwards of 40 lbs. depending on product and business operations.
• Work near a variety of equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, warehouse racking systems, electronic devices and refrigeration systems.

• Moving objects, including pallet jacks, forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Moderate noise levels depending on warehouse operations.
• Working around refrigeration systems that may include freon or ammonia-based coolants.
• Inclement weather subject to loading and receiving dock configuration.
• Interior temperatures between 70 to -15 degrees Fahrenheit (21 to -26 degrees Celsius)
