Ecowize North America is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee sanitation operations at a client facility. You will partner with the Site Manager to prepare the site for sanitation, supervise shifts, and ensure compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, and USDA/FDA regulations.

This hands-on leadership role offers growth into full site leadership, with opportunities to coach sanitation techs, drive documentation, and support audits while maintaining safe, high-quality food production environments.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years in food processing (USDA/FDA environment).
• 1–2 years as a Site Supervisor or Team Lead in sanitation or production.
• GMPs, SSOPs, LOTO, HAZCOM, and PPE knowledge.
• Strong leadership to coach frontline teams.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Drive Documentation: Help maintain accurate records of sanitation processes, training, attendance, and corrective actions.
• Be Audit-Ready: Support audit and inspection preparation by ensuring documentation and practices meet requirements.
• Step Up as Needed: Act as the lead in the Site Manager’s absence, ensuring operations run smoothly.

About the Role: Sanitation Assistant Site Manager

As an Assistant Site Manager, you’ll partner with the Site Manager to oversee sanitation operations at one of our client facilities. You’ll help prepare the site for sanitation, support and supervise team members during shifts, and ensure compliance with food safety and safety standards.

This role is hands-on, dynamic, and essential — a strong fit for someone ready to grow into full site leadership.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Experience:
• 3–5 years in food processing (USDA/FDA environment required).
• 1–2 years as a Site Supervisor or Team Lead in sanitation or production.
• Sanitation Knowledge: Familiar with GMPs, SSOPs, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), HAZCOMM, and PPE standards.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to coach, motivate, and support frontline teams.
• Bilingual Preferred: English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Adaptability: Willingness to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays) and in all plant environments (hot, cold, wet, loud).
