Job summary

Ecowize North America is seeking an Area Manager (Sanitation) to oversee multiple sites within a designated region. You will lead sanitation operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and mentor Site Managers to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Reporting to the Division Manager, you will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, drive continuous improvement, and partner with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management experience in food manufacturing sanitation or production environments.
• Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations, GMPs, and Master Sanitation Programs.
• Safety leadership including LOTO and HAZCOMM practices.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required for effective leadership across diverse teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and adaptability to new platforms.

Your Role: Area Manager (Sanitation)

As an Area Manager, you’ll oversee multiple sanitation sites within a designated region, ensuring top-tier service delivery, compliance, and team performance. Reporting to the Division Manager, you’ll lead Site Managers and their teams to meet client expectations, safety standards, and sanitation protocols. You will be the critical link between client success and internal execution — balancing strategy and hands‑on leadership in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation operations across multiple facilities to deliver high-quality, compliant service.
• Coach and develop Site Managers to build high-performing teams aligned with safety and food quality standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, HR, Finance) to drive performance, resolve issues, and implement best practices.
• Ensure readiness for audits and support corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and manage budgets, KPIs, labor usage, and resource allocation to meet company and client goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and frontline engagement.

What You Bring

• Experience: 7+ years in management, in food manufacturing sanitation and production environments.
• Sanitation Expertise: Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations, GMPs, and Master Sanitation Programs.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English): Required for effective communication and leadership across diverse teams.
