Job summary

Paycom in Ponca City, OK 74601 is seeking a sanitation associate to perform cleaning and sanitizing of lines and equipment in a production environment. You will dismantle and reassemble equipment to ensure proper sanitation and operate high-pressure water hoses and steam cleaners as part of daily duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and physical stamina to stand for long periods, walk, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform cleaning duties across the plant, including outdoor areas.

• Cleaning and sanitizing of various lines of equipment, floors, and walls.
• Dismantling and reassembling equipment to ensure sanitization.
• Handling high-pressure water and air hoses during the cleaning process.
• Uses chemicals, steam cleaners, and other equipment to facilitate cleaning.
• Cleaning product off the floor.
• Work in all areas of the plant including, but not limited to: grinding, blending, forming, packing production areas, and working outside picking up trash.

Qualifications: Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as stated above.

• Must be able to stand, reach, handle, and/or feel continuously (67-100% of the time)
• Must be able to walk, lift, carry, push, and/or pull frequently (34-66% of the time)
• Must be able to work overhead, twist, climb ladders or stairs, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl occasionally (1-33% of the time)
