Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Sanitation Technician at our Lancaster, PA facility to support the sanitation team and improve performance, quality, and safety throughout the plant.

You will operate processing equipment safely, follow GMPs, and perform housekeeping per policy. The role requires overtime/weekend availability and a strong focus on food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

About the Role:

The Sanitation Technician role at the Lancaster location provides support to the Sanitation team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance, quality, and safety throughout the plant.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Competitive compensation: earn $20.75 per hour, including shift differential. Earn more with opportunities for additional overtime!
• Running food manufacturing processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performing facility/work area housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies and procedures.
• Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality.
• Being responsible for recognizing and reporting employee safety, food safety, and/or quality issues.

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role, which operates 6AM to 6PM, rotating days/weeks. Overtime may be available depending on the needs of the business.

About You:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus!
• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends.
