Job summary

Smithfield Foods in Kansas City is hiring a Sanitation General Production team member. You will sanitize production areas, assist with cleaning non-edible parts, and support a safe, efficient line for delivering high-quality food.

You must be at least 18, able to follow written and oral instructions, and capable of physically demanding tasks. Compensation starts at $20.25/hour with comprehensive health insurance, retirement benefits, and education opportunities.

These positions can be physically demanding and require good hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail. Sanitation Production team members must be able to work their scheduled shift and may be required to work overtime depending on production demands.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
