Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Teammate in Lockbourne, OH for an evening shift. You will maintain cleanliness across offices, distribution centers, and transportation areas while supporting a culture of safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform tasks.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Vacuum and mop floors, empty trash, wipe surfaces, clean windows/walls.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces in break rooms and entrances.
• Sweep/mop floors, clean dock plates and racks, and put away pallets in DC/Transportation.
• Maintain walkways and grounds, cut grass, empty cigarette cans.
• Paint inside and outside the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour.
• Shift: Sunday- Thursday, start time 2:00pm- 10:30pm

What You’ll Do As a Sanitation Teammate

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows /walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
