Job summary

The Sanitation Associate role at Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Buena Park, CA focuses on maintaining high sanitation levels across warehouse spaces, breakrooms, offices, restrooms, and grounds. You will operate cleaning tools and ensure waste and recycling processes meet standards, while supporting pest control and safety compliance.

Applicants should be able to pass pre-employment screenings, be at least 18, and perform physically demanding tasks in a non-climate-controlled warehouse

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform any physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the highest degree of sanitation is maintained in the facility.
• Use tools and equipment including hand brooms, blowers, vacuum cleaners, powered scrubbers, scissor lifts, and boom lifts to meet sanitation standards.
• Empty and maintain trash cans and recycling containers.
• Ensure pest control systems are operating effectively.
• Maintain sanitation area, supplies, and inventory.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning checklists.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Comply with AIB and Food Safety Defense standards.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Pay in California:

• Base pay from $17.75 per hour based on skills and experience
• 2nd Shift differential starting at $.50

Summary

The Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining sanitation levels and recycling programs in company facilities as set forth by company standards. This position will be responsible for warehouse, breakrooms, offices, restrooms and facility grounds based on location.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure that trash cans and recycling containers are emptied and maintained.

• Ensure that pest control systems are operating effectively.

• Maintain sanitation area, supplies, and inventory of those supplies.

• Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning checklists.

• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.

• Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.

What We Need from You:

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Must be able to perform any physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may not be temperature controlled, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates throughout the seasons.

Helpful Experience (Not Required):

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous sanitation experience.
