Job summary

Lineage is hiring for a sanitation/facility cleaning position in a meat production environment. You will work in the Boxing Area, Clean Room and Tempering Room, performing cleaning tasks with PPE and following strict safety protocols.

Schedule is Mon-Fri, 2:30pm–11pm, with competitive hourly pay and a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and pallet jacks.
• Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the official language.
• Ability to work in cold storage temperatures and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum hallways, stairs, breakrooms and office spaces.
• Wash and sweep inside facility and pick up discarded trash.
• Perform general maintenance of facility including warehouse and freezer.
• Remove ice and pick up pieces of pallets.
• Keep grounds clean and free of debris.
• May need to ensure cleaning materials and equipment are in good condition and stock levels.

Pay: $19/hr. plus $1.50 shift differential This position works in the Boxing Area, Clean Room, and Tempering Room within a meat production environment and involves cleaning and sanitizing areas with blood, meat/production residue, and strong odors. Candidates must be comfortable wearing required protective equipment, working at heights, and following strict sanitation and safety procedures.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11pm Pay: $19/hr. plus $1.50 shift differential This position works in the Boxing Area, Clean Room, and Tempering Room within a meat production environment and involves cleaning and sanitizing areas with blood, meat/production residue, and strong odors. Candidates must be comfortable wearing required protective equipment, working at heights, and following strict sanitation and safety procedures.
Maintain appropriate sanitation levels in and around company facilities while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum hallways, stairs, breakrooms and office spaces
• Wash and sweep inside facility and pick up discarded trash
• Perform general maintenance of entire facility including warehouse and freezer
• Remove ice and pick up pieces of pallets
• Keep grounds clean and free of debris
• May need to make sure cleaning materials and equipment are in good working condition, locked up correctly after use, and stock levels are maintained by taking routine stock checks.

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and pallet jacks
• Must be comfortable handling cleaning chemicals
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$15.48 - $26.11
