Department of State Health Services is seeking a Sanitarian I to perform environmental sanitation inspections across western DFW metroplex, including Tarrant and surrounding counties. Duties include inspecting food manufacturers, retailers, and related facilities to ensure compliance with the Texas Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and GMPs.

The role requires travel, report writing, and occasional on-call responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from a US accredited college/university (or equivalent) with at least 30 science credits or a natural science-related field.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation laws and regulations; ability to conduct field inspections.

Aufgaben

• Perform environmental sanitation inspections of food manufacturers, retailers, and related facilities.
• Inspect various food establishments to ensure compliance with regulatory and sanitary requirements.
• Prepare and file technical inspection reports with supporting photos and exhibits.
• Respond to complaints and emergencies, and assist in disaster response as needed.
