Job summary

Permian Lodging, LLC. is seeking a sandwich maker to prepare all sandwiches per recipes and menus, ensuring appealing presentation of cold foods.

You will rotate stock to reduce spoilage and maintain freshness, and oversee proper storage in refrigerators/freezers. The role requires at least two years of sandwich-making experience in a similar size operation and a Food Safe Certificate, with the ability to obtain any government licenses as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school or equivalent education.
• Minimum of two years experience as a sandwich maker in a similar size operation.
• Food Safe Certificate.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.

POSITION PURPOSE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepare all sandwiches according to standard recipes and menus. Visually inspect appearance of all cold food for overall presentation to maintain appeal. Check and control proper storage of all food items in refrigerators and freezers to maintain product freshness. Properly rotate food products in order to keep spoilage and waste to a minimum.

OTHER:

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position, ability to work night shift as per schedule requirements.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of Permian Lodging. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions, safety meetings is required.

Requirements

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE
