Job Overview:

36 Granada is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sandwich Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position involves preparing high-quality sandwiches, artisanal toasts, and other light fare with precision and creativity. The ideal candidate has experience in upscale or fine-dining settings and is committed to consistency, presentation, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assemble gourmet sandwiches, paninis, and other menu items according to restaurant standards.
  • Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepped for service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sandwich station.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with health regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Adapt to menu changes and special requests efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 1-2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in an upscale or fine-dining setting.
  • Strong knife skills and experience handling fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Passion for food, presentation, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
