CC Holdings Restaurant Management Group is hiring at the Au Bon Pain Café located in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. We seek friendly, motivated, detail-oriented individuals for sandwich artist and cashier roles with flexible full-time and part-time schedules, including early morning and evening shifts.

Starting pay is up to $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities include making sandwiches, handling cash/credit transactions, and maintaining a clean, sanitary work station while following safety

Full-time & Part-time sandwich artist/cashier positions are now being filled at our Au Bon Pain Café located in Methodist Hospital. Shifts available seven days @ week 6AM-2PM/7AM-3PM/3PM-10:45PM/5PM-10:45PM (shifts vary) must have flexibility.

The sandwich artist is responsible for assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads and protein bowls while following recipes and adhering to ABP standards. Orders are prepared in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. The sandwich maker maintains and stocks their station and follows all food safety requirements. As a cashier, you are responsible for processing cash, debit and credit card transactions on a point-of-sale system. Cashiers balance the cash drawer, make change and enter purchases. Customer service skills are required. Starting rate up to $16.00 an hour! If you are looking for a fun, fast paced environment this is the opportunity for you!!

Requirements

• Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to all grooming standards.
• Sets up station according to cafe guidelines.
• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows portion control and presentation specifications as set by the café.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.
• Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance.
• Ensure quality and safety of food by performing standard and any additional sanitary measures including sweeping of the floors, cleaning of surfaces, as well as proper covering and storage of food items according to standards and procedures.
• Work at efficient and consistent pace.
• Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Follows all cash handling procedures as outlined.
• Assists in financial accountability by correctly recording orders, receiving/giving change, and counting the drawer.
• Thanks the customers and invite them to return.
• Acts as a role model with customers and staff, and helps provide on-the-job training for new barista/cashier.
• Works with others in a team to support operations, standards and concept essence.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and "listening" skills.
