Job summary

Subway - 11039-0 is seeking a friendly Subway Team Member to deliver an excellent guest experience and help keep the restaurant clean and welcoming.

You will assist guests with meal options, prepare and serve fresh food, operate the POS system, and work with teammates to maintain safety and cleanliness. No prior experience is required and you will receive on-the-job training; shifts include day, evening and weekends and vary by location. Compensation: To be discussed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent guest experience from start to finish.
• Prepare and serve fresh food daily.
• Uphold food safety standards while preparing and serving.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
• Operate the POS system/cash register.
• Work with teammates to keep all areas clean and organized.
• lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish
• Upholding food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily
• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education

Some high school or equivalent

Experience

No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
