Job summary

Subway Team Members provide an excellent guest experience by assisting guests with meal options and completing orders from start to finish. They prepare and serve fresh food while upholding strict food safety standards and maintaining cleanliness across the restaurant.

Team players work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a welcoming environment. Training is provided; full-time and part-time shift options vary by location.

Qualifications

• Education: Some high school or equivalent.
• Experience: No previous experience required.
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Responsibilities

• Work with guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish.
• Uphold food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily.
• Work with teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
• Operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.

PREREQUISITES

Education : Some high school or equivalent

Experience : No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical : Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
