Job summary

Subway is hiring a Team Member to join our restaurant team in Oregon. As a Sandwich Artist, you will greet guests, assist with meal selections from start to finish, and ensure accurate orders while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

You will follow food safety standards, keep the restaurant clean, work with teammates across shifts, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Training provided; full-time and part-time day, evening, and weekend shifts vary by location;

Qualifications

• No prior work experience required.
• Some high school or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing an excellent Guest experience from start to finish.
• Preparing and serving fresh food daily according to Subway standards.
• Keeping the restaurant clean and orderly, creating a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
• Being a Team player and collaborating with coworkers across shifts.

Key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish
• Upholding food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily
• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education: Some high school or equivalent

Experience: No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
