Job summary

Subway in Memphis is seeking a friendly Team Member to join our restaurant crew. You will help guests, prepare and serve fresh food, and keep the store clean while providing a positive dining experience.

Full Time and Part Time shifts are available, including day, evening, and weekend hours. No previous experience required; training will be provided on roles, responsibilities, and point-of-sale operations. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Some high school or equivalent.
• Experience: No previous experience required.
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
• Ability to lift 10–30 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest experience and fulfill orders from start to finish.
• Uphold food safety standards when preparing and serving fresh food.
• Maintain cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere throughout the restaurant.
• Collaborate with teammates and operate the point-of-sale system.

Key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish
• Upholding food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily
• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education: Some high school or equivalent

Experience: No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
