Job summary

Subway is seeking a Subway Team Member to focus on guest experience, food preparation, and maintaining a clean, welcoming restaurant environment in Indianapolis. You will work with teammates to recommend meal options, fulfill orders from start to finish, and uphold food safety standards daily.

No prior experience is required, and some high school or equivalent education is acceptable. Training will be provided, and shifts vary by location, including day, evening, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent Guest experience from start to finish.
• Uphold food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily.
• Keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests.
• Work with teammates to be a Team player and support daily operations.
• Assist Guests with meal options and fulfill orders from start to finish.
• Operate the Point of Sale system/cash register as needed.

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish

• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education

Some high school or equivalent

Experience

No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
