Job summary

Subway is seeking a Team Member/Sandwich Artist in Gordon, NE. You will focus on guest experience, preparing and serving fresh food, and keeping the restaurant clean as part of a collaborative team.

No previous experience is required and training will be provided. New hires average around $17 per hour with a shared tip pool, with full-time or part-time shifts varying by location.

Qualifications

• Experience: No previous experience required.
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Responsibilities

• Work with guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish.
• Uphold food safety standards as you prepare and serve fresh food daily.
• Work with teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our guests.
• Operate the computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.

PREREQUISITES

Education: Some high school or equivalent

Experience: No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
