Job description

We are currently in search of a skilled Field Technician to become a part of our team based in Reno, NV. This position entails regular travel to various mining and construction sites throughout Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. The primary responsibilities of the technician will include servicing and repairing Sandvik Rock Drills, Mobile Crushing Equipment, and Heavy Equipment. Given the nature of the work, candidates must be prepared to operate in challenging environments, which may involve exposure to adverse weather conditions such as rain, wind, and snow, necessitating a strong ability to work autonomously.

Ideal candidates should have substantial experience as a Field Technician or Heavy Equipment Mechanic, with a particular emphasis on proficiency in Sandvik Rock Drills and Mobile Crushing Equipment. It is essential for applicants to demonstrate their capability to function independently in remote locations, as well as their willingness to undertake extensive travel. Preference will be given to individuals who are either residents of Reno, NV, or live in close proximity to the area, as this will facilitate easier access to the job site and enhance overall efficiency.

In terms of compensation and benefits, we offer a competitive pay rate starting at $40 per hour, with an additional stipend of $4 per hour for travel-related work, bringing the total to between $44 and $47 per hour, plenty of overtime available. Furthermore, we provide accommodations and meals during travel assignments, ensuring that our technicians are well-supported while on the job.
