Job summary

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Sandblaster candidates for 2nd and 3rd shift in the Kennebunk, ME area. The Sand Blaster prepares parts for coating and finishing by operating blasting equipment in a manufacturing environment.

This role supports production quality through hands-on processing, safe equipment operation, and adherence to safety protocols while handling parts before and after blasting.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated blast cabinets by placing parts on spindles, monitoring rotation cycles, and removing parts upon completion.
• Perform manual blasting by placing parts inside cabinets and hand-blasting using attached gloves.
• Operate REM polishing bowls, loading parts and removing them once finishing cycles are complete.
• Handle parts before and after blasting to ensure proper finish and damage-free processing.
• Perform general production and material handling tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and work instructions.
