Mass Audubon is seeking a dedicated Property Manager I for Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in Worcester, MA. The role supports custodial and maintenance duties across buildings, exhibits, and grounds, aligning with Mass Audubon’s mission.

You will work with staff and volunteers, maintain trails, monitor land, and help with invasive species control, building relationships with neighbors and partners. The position is part-time, 19 hours weekly, with benefits and a pay range of $21.75-$22.75

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least three years of related experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform physical work and outdoor duties.
• Basic maintenance skills and safe operation of power tools.
• Hike rough terrain, lift up to 40 pounds, outdoors in inclement weather.
• Strong communication with diverse groups.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency.
• Valid MA driver’s license; routine building maintenance capability.
• Carpentry, tractor experience, chainsaw training, First Aid, pesticide license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform custodial and maintenance tasks for buildings, exhibits, and grounds.
• Develop weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance work plans with staff.
• Address issues on wildlife sanctuaries as they arise.
• Maintain equipment and assist with vehicle upkeep.
• Assist with supervision of seasonal staff and volunteers.
• All Persons Trail maintenance.
• Coordinate and assist with special projects and events.
