Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise SME in Brocade SAN switching to lead firmware management, upgrades, and maintenance across the fabric. The role requires hands-on leadership for migrations and ongoing health monitoring of the SAN.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Brocade switches, zone management, and SANNAV tooling, contributing to secure and reliable data paths for critical enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience with Brocade fabric switching or related storage networking roles.
• Expert knowledge of Brocade switches and firmware management.
• Experience delivering zone updates and configuration maintenance.
• Hands-on leadership in switch migrations within Brocade Fabric.
• Advanced to expert in SANNAV management tools and related security/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Enterprise SME for Brocade switching with hands-on leadership.
• Maintain firmware, security and certificate configuration across the fabric.
• Lead planning and execution of switch maintenance, upgrades, and changes.
• Monitor SAN Fabric health, generate reports, and propose corrective actions.

Required Skills (8-10 years exp.)

• Expert knowledge of Brocade switches
• Demonstrated ability to provide Firmware management of Brocade Switches (departmental, DCX 6/7/8)
• Demonstrated ability to complete zone updates and configuration maintenance
• Demonstrated hands-on leadership in switch migrations within Brocade Fabric
• Advanced to expert in Brocade SANNAV management application install, Security, updates, maintenance

Responsibilities

• Enterprise SME for Brocade switching providing hands-on leadership for the platform
• Responsible to maintain firmware, security and certificate configuation management.
• Technical leadership in the planning and execution of switch maintenance, upgrades, and changes.
• Responsible for SAN Fabric health monitoring, reporting, and recommending and implementing corrective actions.
