Job summary

TelevisaUnivision seeks a temporary part-time News Photographer and Editor to shoot video and audio for TV productions, both live and recorded. You will edit material to match scripts using non-linear editing on our facilities or mobile equipment from remote locations.

The role requires experience in TV news, bilingual English/Spanish, and ability to work under tight deadlines, with potential travel for special assignments. A valid driver's license is essential for daily remote shoots.

Qualifications

Experience as news photographer in TV news or similar environment preferred.
Non-linear editing experience required.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
High School Diploma required.
College degree or technical training in Journalism or related field preferred.
Must be able to lift and carry broadcast video equipment (~50 pounds).

Responsibilities

Shoot and edit news stories using ENG camera and non-linear editing equipment, with or without reporter.
Cover special assignments and series as needed.
Provide pictures and short videos for social media platforms.
Set up Live U equipment for live remote shoots.
Assist video editors in editing and preparing video for newscasts.
Maintain and operate news vehicles and equipment safely.
Upload video and pictures to station website when required.
