Job summary

Alto is hiring in San Francisco to drive as a W-2 employee, operating a company-provided luxury SUV and completing Uber trips on the app with guaranteed hourly pay, tips and benefits.

Pay starts at $20.50 per hour, with raises after about a month, and weekly bonuses. A $1,000 bonus is available after 25 shifts. You can be paid weekly or on-demand, and healthcare including dental and vision is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid California Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience in the United States.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Eligible to drive on Uber app (no suspensions).
• Fluent in English.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to communicate verbally and follow directions from our Driver Support team.
• Comfortable with navigational apps (Uber driver app, Google Maps, emails, web browsing).
• Use company-provided mobile devices and applications to support data collection activities
• Accurately document route information, observations, and any issues encountered during driving sessions
• Capable of entering and exiting the vehicle consistently to assist customers with their luggage.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to sit for extended periods.
