Job summary

Wilson Elser's San Diego office seeks an Employment & Labor Associate to join a collaborative team handling sophisticated employment and labor matters. The attorney will manage cases from inception to resolution, appearing in court and at depositions, while advising clients and coordinating with partners.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school, California bar admission, and at least two years of litigation experience, including wage-and-hour and PAGA matters.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the California bar.
• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience with wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA, discrimination/retaliation/wrongful termination claims.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish.
• Represent clients in a broad range of employment and labor claims.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on legal matters.
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
• Provide clients with regular status reports and clear communications.
