San Antonio Chrysler Dodge in San Antonio, TX is seeking an entry-level Service Technician to join our dealership team. You will perform repairs and diagnostics with guidance from senior technicians in a state-of-the-art facility.

The role requires at least a High School diploma, ASE certification or an equivalent associate degree in auto maintenance, and 2+ years of related experience. Excellent communication and customer service are essential while maintaining a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification or graduation from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
• At least two years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment and lift operation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Professional appearance and friendly customer service.

Responsabilités

• Performs work on repair orders efficiently and per dealership standards.
• Test-drives vehicles and tests components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs automotive transmissions and related systems.
• Communicates with Service Advisor regarding needed additional work and estimates time.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test-drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs automotive transmissions and related systems
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training
• Performs other duties as assigned
