Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Data Intelligence professional to architect, deploy, and manage platforms across diverse clusters in an air-gapped, in-house environment. You will lead Kubernetes-based hosting, CI/CD pipelines, and scale for performance as the Texas Taylor campus expands.

Role requires collaboration with international counterparts and deep technical execution, including building automation tools and managing large-scale containerized applications within a high-stakes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Skills and Qualifications

Here’s what you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Solid experience in designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

Strong understanding of containerization concepts and technologies (Docker, container runtimes, etc.).

Proficiency in deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts.

Experience with Kubernetes offerings.

Knowledge of networking concepts and experience configuring Kubernetes networking (Service Mesh, Load Balancers, Ingress Controllers, etc.).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) for building and deploying containerized applications.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in Kubernetes environments.

The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
