Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a buyer to manage production equipment MRO procurement, overseeing PO lifecycles, demand forecasting, and inventory planning while negotiating supplier contracts to drive cost savings and efficiency. You'll track procurement KPIs and collaborate with Engineering and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 4+ years of procurement / supply-chain experience.
• Hands on work with an ERP and overall proficiency with inventory management and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Order lifecycle management including designing/implementing workflows for PO generation, approval and fulfillment and ERP integrations.
• Inventory management: analyze consumption trends to optimize stocking for high usage items and reduce low usage inventory and zero-bin events.
• Cost engineering: secure cost savings and best pricing; lead procurement projects through to implementation and evaluate savings.
• Process improvement: define scopes, timelines, and oversee execution for measurable workflow improvements.
• Supplier relationship management: cultivate high-performance relationships driving cost savings, quality, and innovation.
• Inter-department collaboration: coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and others for operational excellence.

Skills and Qualifications

Here’s what you'll need:

The current base salary range for this role is between $73,000 - $107,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
