Job summary

Synthomer plc is seeking a Jefferson Sample Room Clerk to manage repackaging of samples and ensure compliant shipping labels. The role requires accuracy, safety awareness, and the ability to handle hazardous materials in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain stock, process sample orders, and ensure proper documentation and labeling for shipments, while coordinating with CSR teams and following regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent; valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and handle 55-gallon drums.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow complex procedures.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock for immediate shipment and packaging supplies.
• Repackage samples from larger containers into labeled sample containers.
• Follow DOT and IATA shipping standards and safety procedures.
• Record sample shipments and transactions in SAP; manage sample shipments.
• Provide coverage in the Sample Shipment area as needed.

The Jefferson Sample Room Clerk prepares these samples by repackaging material from larger containers and applying the appropriate labels for shipment.
