Job Description

Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is looking for a Sample Custodian in Stafford, TX.

This role will oversee all the different aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples. It also serves as a back up driver as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist and oversee shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples.
• Prepare samples from processing.
• Accepts and signs for deliveries.
• Assist in unloading shipments from delivery truck.
• Use dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area.
• Open coolers and inspect contents of shipments. Check documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for.
• Distribute samples to different departments as appropriate.
• Follow strict safety and quality control procedures.
• Store, restock, and shelve samples as necessary.
• Ensure that work area is clean and organized.
• Enter records in LIMS system.

Compensation: $20/hour. This is a part-time position Tuesday to Friday from 4 pm to 1 am. Training will take place Tuesday and Thursday at 8 AM to 1 PM and Wednesday and Friday start at 4 pm.
