Qualifications

• Registered Nurse RN Licensure in Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• American Heart Association PALS certification required within 2 years.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN preferred.
• Nursing experience in a pediatric healthcare surgery setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for nursing processes: assessment, implementation, and evaluation.
• Plans, implements, and documents the plan of care.
• Ensures safe and efficient patient care.

Skills

Proficiency in EMR and Cerner

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to apply evidence-based practice

Education

BSN degree or currently enrolled in BSN program
