Job summary

Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare seeks licensed or licensed-eligible therapists to join the Access Center team in Roanoke, VA. The role includes screenings, intake assessments, and occasional prescreening for a range of clients.

Therapists work with adults, adolescents, and children and travel as needed for assessments locally. The position emphasizes collaboration with referral sources, documentation in the electronic health record, and completing prescreener certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field meeting licensure eligibility criteria.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience including licensure.
• Pursue licensure as LPC or LCSW and complete Certified Pre-screener within 6 months.
• Background check including fingerprints, state and FBI checks, drug test, and central registry.
• Valid driving record with limited moving violations in past years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, intake assessments, and hospital prescreening as needed.
• Document information in the electronic health record and coordinate with referrals.
• Collaborate with community agencies and maintain team support and consultation.
