Job summary

PYP in Santa Fe Springs, CA, seeks a dedicated yard worker to dismantle vehicles and prep them for yard placement. You will remove fluids and parts, move vehicles with a forklift when needed, and keep the area clean and compliant with EPA and OSHA standards.

Role requires mobility, ability to stand and lift up to 75 pounds, and flexibility to work weekends. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and more.

Responsibilities

• Perform work outdoors in the yard and prepare vehicles for setting in the yard.
• Remove fluids, lubricants and components from vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Dismantle parts from salvage cars and set vehicles in the yard as assigned.
• Operate a forklift or loader to assist in moving vehicles when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Wear all required PPE and follow company policies.
