Job summary

Vander Haag's Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a full-time Salvage Department Technician to join our growing team. You will identify, inspect, clean, and photograph used truck parts, and enter items into our online inventory system.

The role involves occasional outdoor work across all seasons and collaboration with fellow team members. Previous heavy-duty truck experience is preferred but not required. Hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime eligible.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Comfortable working with technology.
• Able to communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, inspecting, and cleaning used truck parts.
• Painting parts and taking pictures of final product.
• Entering parts into our internet-based inventory system.
• Entering heavy-duty trucks and equipment into our inventory system.
• Conducting inspections on used trucks and verifying purchase information.
• Updating salvage specs and pictures in our inventory system.
