The ideal candidate will be a CA SALT expert and can base in multiple California offices including San Jose, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, or Woodland Hills.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of public accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting required.
• 40 hours of continuing professional education annually.
• CPA or JD is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical tax review and approval of income tax or sales tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge and proficiency in advanced technical skills for advising clients independently.
• Manages client service tasks and ensures assignments are completed within budgeted time and profitability goals.
• Leads business development for SALT-related projects and participates in the business development process.
• Delivers tax research projects and supervises staff; recruits and develops accounting personnel.
