EY’s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice seeks a Tax Manager to advance tax strategy, compliance, and advisory services for multi-state jurisdictions in a rapidly growing team.

Travel will be regular as needed to serve client engagements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong tax technical skills including tax research and writing, flow through entity taxation, income and franchise taxes, transfer taxes, and compliance skills for multi-state jurisdictions.
• Project management experience in delivering high-quality work products in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tax legislation and impact assessment.
• Indirect tax refund and recovery review.
• Tax planning and optimization.
• Audit quality and remediation techniques.
• Process improvement and optimization.

• Develop solutions to complex tax problems and guide teams toward quality outcomes.
• Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of the financial services industry.
