Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring for a CDL-A Local TARGET Driver in Fontana, CA. You’ll work a dedicated local schedule with home daily, handling preloaded freight and multi-stop deliveries across Southern California, with occasional loads to Las Vegas.

Expect 10–12 hour shifts, 6 days a week, on a route that keeps you local but active. Average weekly pay sits around $1,395–$1,450, with top weeks up to $1,850, and benefits from newer automatic equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and at least 3 months verifiable CDL experience.
• Clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers on the roster.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dedicated local day-cab fleet with home daily schedule.
• Complete approximately 1,400 miles per week with preloaded freight.
• Perform multi-stop deliveries across Southern California, with occasional Las Vegas trips.
• Offload using 28' trailers, manual pallet jack, and liftgate; driver-monitored offload.
• Work six days per week with 10–12 hour shifts; weekends required.
