Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Dedicated Retail Driver for home daily schedules on short local routes with mostly drop-and-hook freight. You’ll run a dedicated retail freight fleet with consistent local deliveries, typically 23+ stops per week, and a 91-mile longest round trip.

Night driving is required, six-day workweeks with a 34-hour reset, and automatic equipment. Valid CDL-A, DOT card and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Clean driving record.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to work nights and a six-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver retail freight on short local routes.
• Handle approximately 95% drop-and-hook freight and 5% pallet jack unloading.

Earn approximately $79,976 per year running short local routes with mostly drop-and-hook freight. This dedicated retail position offers daily home time, automatic equipment, and consistent delivery work.

Pay Details

• Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,600
• CPM-based pay
• Additional bonus opportunities may be available
