Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Bloomfield Hills is seeking a passionate Stylist to engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and deliver quality services including cuts, color, and styling. You will support the Experience Manager and drive guest satisfaction through expert product recommendations and service excellence.

The role requires a cosmetology license, prior salon experience preferred, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficient in performing hair design, cuts, color, texture, styling, and makeup applications where applicable.
• Strong guest service skills with ability to consult and recommend products.
• Able to demonstrate and sell pro hair care and makeup products.
• Developed communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend services and products.
• Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals for hair services and retail.
• Maintain salon cleanliness, stock, and adherence to safety and infection control procedures.
• Attend trainings and team meetings to stay current on trends and offerings.
